Hello,

Dookey Dash and Sewer Pass NFTs
BitKeep Wallet making things right
NYX Makeup Launching DAO
Looks like the world can't get enough of Bored Apes!
The latest NFT project by Bored Ape Yacht Club's parent company Yuga Labs, raked in a whopping 4,000 ETH (over $6 million) in just a matter of hours!
What are Sewer Pass NFTs?
The Sewer Pass is a golden ticket for accessing the game of Dookey Dash from January 19th to February 8th.
Scores will be incorporated into a larger game called Chapter 1.
Only Ape NFT (BAYC, BAKC or MAYC) owners can obtain a free Sewer Pass.
Sewer Passes come in one of four tiers based on membership in the Bored Ape Kennel Club.
Sewer Passes are available on the secondary market, with prices ranging from $1,970 to $640,000.
What's fun about Dookey Dash?
The game follows the story of an ape named Jimmy who takes a dump so atomic it ripped a hole in the space-time continuum! His ape friend Curtis tries to retrieve the key to a mysterious locked box that somehow ends up in Jimmy's stomach. To get anywhere near Jimmy's stomach, you need a Sewer pass.
Dookey Dash saves player scores on a leaderboard, but it's a little tricky. If you trade your Sewer Pass, your score will disappear, but if it returns to your wallet, the score will stay. Keep in mind that each Sewer Pass can only have one score tied to it.
Putting Creators First
The Sewer Pass can't be traded on some marketplaces that don't play nice with creator royalties. The Sewer Pass smart contract has a blocklist feature that keeps it away from marketplaces like LooksRare and NFTX, which do not require traders to pay full creator royalties.
In November, OpenSea waded into the fiery debate about creator fees on NFT marketplaces and supported the permanent implementation of creators' fees.
Plus, thanks to the open-source nature of their code, creators can easily blacklist platforms that don't charge fees. And they're not alone in this!
Other NFT marketplaces, such as Rarible, Recur, MakersPlace, Nifty Gateway, and more, have implemented a smart contract model that allows creators to easily enforce on-chain royalties for their work.
Traders are loving NFT marketplaces like sudoswap and X2Y2 because they don't have to fork over a single cent in royalties! And because of this, some established NFT marketplaces like Magic Eden are feeling pressure to do the same.
Yuga Labs' stance on this whole thing: "We've always been a creative-first company, and we believe that creator royalties must be protected."
BitKeep wallet to refund victims of $8 million fake app hack in December
It's a tough pill to swallow when you realize you've been hacked, especially to $8 million. But fear not; BitKeep Wallet is here to make things right.
BitKeep Wallet is refunding the victims of a fake app hack that occurred on December 26th.
But how did this happen? Well, it seems that some clever (but ultimately nefarious) individuals created a fake version of the BitKeep Wallet app and convinced users to download it. The Hackers could then extract users' wallet seed phrases to steal cash.
But here's the good news: BitKeep Wallet shows that they genuinely have their users' best interests at heart by taking responsibility for the hack and offering full refunds by Feb end. They're also working on implementing stricter security measures to prevent something like this from happening again.
So, while it's never fun to be hacked, it's more bearable when the company you trusted to keep your crypto safe steps up to make things right. Kudos to BitKeep wallet for being a shining example of how a company should handle a crisis.
In the end, it's a reminder that in the crypto world, security should always be the top priority, and BitKeep wallet is taking that seriously.
NYX Makeup Launches GORJS, the World's First Beauty DAO
NYX Professional Makeup, known for their bold and daring products, is launching their own non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to access GORJS, the world's first beauty DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization). FKWME Pass is a limited collection of NFT access passes that will unlock perks for the DAO's first 1,000 members
But what does this mean for us mere mortals who just want a good eyeliner?
It means that NYX is giving its customers a direct say in developing and producing new products. No more wondering if that new eyeshadow palette was created with input from makeup artists and enthusiasts. With GORJS, you'll be able to vote on what products you want to see and even have a say in the packaging and branding.
NYX DAO investigates what makeup means in the digital age of avatars and pseudonymity, moving beyond actual cosmetics offered in shops.
“From extraterrestrial glass skin to morphing elemental lashes, makeup and digital fantasy are entwined in an aspirational, accessible way,” said NYX Global Brand President Joffredo. “In one instance, eyelashes might be stacked in a multi-tier beauty application norm; in Web3, they could dramatically flare into lifelike flames that dare the viewer to dream.”
Despite the recent slump in the NFT industry, Joffredo believes GORJS will still be able to deliver on its ambitious objective. So, are you ready to redefine beauty with NYX and the blockchain? We know we are.
