Google has officially launched its latest AI model, aimed at dethroning OpenAI's GPT-4.
And its so good at mathematics.

Google says that Gemini outperforms OpenAI's GPT-4.
To back up its claims, Google conducted several benchmark tests comparing Gemini to GPT-4.
In these assessments, the Gemini Ultra version achieved "state-of-the-art performance" in 30 out of 32 academic benchmarks typically used in the development of large language models.
Gemini's inherent multimodal capability sets it apart from models like GPT-4, which rely on external plugins and integrations to achieve multimodality.
But, the online community remains skeptical. Like always.

Jito, a Solana-based liquid staking protocol, just dropped a $225 million worth of tokens on Solana users.
Debut price tag: $6.01, (CoinGecko) valuing the 90 million tokens set for the airdrop at $540.9 million.
Shortly after the launch, the JTO token experienced a dramatic 58% drop, falling to $2.50.
Solana DeFi users wasted no time and claimed over 54 million JTO tokens out of the 90 million available in the airdrop.
Eligible Participants: JitoSOL holders, Solana validators running Jito MEV clients, and users of Jito’s MEV services.
Some whales in the Solana ecosystem expressed dissatisfaction, feeling that the airdrop didn't proportionally reward those who conducted substantial transactions on Jito.

Yield in Bitcoin: The fund offers a 5% yield denominated in Bitcoin to institutional investors.
Lending in BTC: It will lend funds in Bitcoin to institutional counterparties at the discretion of the fund managers.
Investment in USD: Participants will invest in US dollars, which will be converted into Bitcoin when the fund closes.
Funds will be loaned in Bitcoin.
Fees for the fund will be charged in Bitcoin.
The fundraising is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
